MARIA C. ACCARDO, 98, of the Cherry Hill Manor died Friday at the manor. She was the wife of the late Ottavio Accardo.
Born in Italy, a daughter of the late Vito and Francesca Colicchio, she lived in Johnston for 10 years.
She leaves a daughter, Josephine Marsella of Cranston, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Frances Savone and Leonardo "Leo" Accardo Sr. and sister of the late Carlo Colicchio.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at Holy Ghost Church, Knight Street, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
