John CAMPBELL, 19, of Pinckneyville, passed away Thursday morning, Nov.
3, 2005,
in St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Services will be held
at 1
p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Blooming Grove Baptist Church in McLeansboro,
with the
Rev. Richard McCORMICK and the Rev. Thad WOODSIDE officiating. Burial
will be in
Blooming Grove Cemetery in McLeansboro. Friends may call from 6 to 8
p.m. this
evening (Friday) to Harre Funeral Home, 310 W. Randolph St. in
McLeansboro.
Memorials will be accepted for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at the funeral
home.

He was born Nov. 14, 1985, in Mt. Vernon, the son of David Ray CAMPBELL
and
Brenda Sue (MOORE) LANKFORD. Mr. CAMPBELL was a member of Philadelphia
Independent Baptist Church in DuQuoin. He liked music, playing the
guitar,
theater, philosophy, and participating in the school play "Pride and
Prejudice"
at Rend Lake College. He loved his friends, family and life. John
graduated from
Pinckneyville High School in 2004 and was a student at Rend Lake
College.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda LANKFORD and husband, Alan, of
Pinckneyville; his father, David CAMPBELL and wife, Debbie, of
McLeansboro; a
brother, D. J. CAMPBELL and wife, Sherry of Whittington; a sister,
Billie "Nan"
LUEKE and husband, Donnie, of McLeansboro; a step-brother, Shawn
LANKFORD and
wife, Leah, of Shiloh; five step-sisters, Bridgett HOWELL of Wayne City,
Jamie
LANKFORD of Grayville, Lisa RICE and husband, Roy, of Robinson, Barbara
POTTS
and husband, Tory, of Oblong, and Angi NELSON and husband, Kevin, of
McLeansboro; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Ruby CAMPBELL of
McLeansboro;
step-grandmother, Ruth LANKFORD of Mt. Vernon; aunts, uncles, nieces and

nephews. His maternal grandparents, Geneva and Marion MOORE preceded him
in
death.
