Keith was electocuted in a home accident. Williamson County Coroner, James Wilson said Mr. Absher apparently touched a live wire while doing electrical work in the basement of his home.
He was employed by United Parcel Service at Marion as a driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Local No 710 of Chicago. H was also a member of Hurricane Baptist Church in Herrin.
He was married to Darlene Lawson, Dec. 23, 2970 in Herrin. She survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Amy Michelle; a son, Matthew at home; his parents, maternal grandmother, Nellie Hale of Herrin; 5 sisters and four brothers.
