Services Held In Odessa Today
Final rites for Irving Floyd Winn, 3629 Melody Lane, were conducted at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel.
Winn, 73, died Sunday at his home following a long illness. Rev. Joe Brown, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens
Winn was a retired drilling superintendent. He was employed by Rowan Drilling Co. Inc. for about 25 years. He retired in 1956. He was born Feb. 12, 1891, in Louisiana, and was married Nov. 26, 1913, in Robeline, La. He moved to Odessa eight years ago from Bronte.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Richmond, Albuquerque, N. M., and Mrs. H. W. Davidson, Midland; two sons, F. H. Winn, Fort Worth, and D. V. Winn, San Marcos; two brothers, W. S. Winn, Bronxville, N. Y. and J. V. Winn, Robeline, La.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
