Henry E. “Ed” Kohr, 69, of Elliottsburg, formerly of New Cumberland died Monday, October 27, 2014 at home.
A Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired Machine Tool Electrician from the former Mechanicsburg Navy Depot. He was a life member of the New Cumberland Boating and Fishing Club. He was always fixing things and loved animals.
He was born May 20, 1945 in Harrisburg to the late Daniel and Betty (Rumbaugh) Kohr.
He is survived by three children, Douglas E. of New Cumberland; Kimberly A. Wentz (Marty A.) of Elliottsburg; and Jonathon A. (Carolyn) of Camp Hill; a brother, Daniel of Mobile, AL; four grandchildren, Deven, Krista, Carter, and Jackson; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until memorial services at 2:30pm Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Alzheimers Association South Central PA, 3544 N. Progress Avenue, Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
