(The Following BIO will be ammended. This informations partially true and integrates outrageous claims.)

Philip Sr. Danner/Tanner was born about 1736 (IGI-9,021) at or near Black Rock, Lancaster Co., PA. This became part of Manheim Twp., York Co., PA in 1749 and is where his parents were members of the Black Rock Brethren Congregation in 1738. (German Baptist Brethren became Church of the Brethren in 1907) Black Rock is very near the PA/MD border and in 1735 Philip's father Michael Sr. was involved in the border dispute between the two states which was known as "Cresap's War". This was finally settled when the Mason-Dixon line was established. Philip Danner is named in a petition filed for his father's estate 29 May 1782. Other than an IGI entry for his birth, there's no known record of Philip ever living in York Co., PA or Frederick Co., MD and most historians and writers have mistaken this Philip for John Philip Danner of Pipe Creek Hundred, Baltimore Co., MD who married Eva Albaugh. John Philip was a son of John Christian Danner 1708-1784. Confusingly, Eva Albaugh's family were founders of the Israel Creek Brethren Settlement where Philip's brother Rev. Jacob Danner 1727-1799 was a minister. I believe Philip could be the Philip Tanner who had land called "Tanner's Choice" patented 17 May 1784 in Fayette Co., PA. He also owned an adjacent tract called "Mount Vernon". He's not listed there in 1790 or 1800 census, so I assume that he died before 1790 probably in Fayette Co., PA. Philip Tanner listed in 1810 Washington Twp., Fayette Co., PA, pg. 1008 could be Philip Jr. Danner. He's over age 45, married and has 4 young children but nothing more can be found for him. It seems that there should be some kind of deed record for this Philip's land in Fayette Co., PA. Fayette was created from Westmoreland in 1783. (AFT-Michael Sr. Danner 1696-1782)
