Gloria Barrera, 76, of El Paso, TX, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 surrounded by family. Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, Gloria came to the U.S. in 1977. Gloria loved tending to her garden, filled with trees and plants and shared her joy with all those who visited. She attended mass and participated in weekly rosary prayer sessions. She ensured all the children knew their prayers and taught life lessons through example; with dignity, compassion, and humility. Known as "Pavin" to her friends and family, Gloria was beloved by all. She was considered a second mom by nieces and nephews and maintained life-long bonds with friends and neighbors. In her passing, Gloria joins her husband, Jesus Morales, who passed in 2009. She is survived by her children: Rogelio, Gilberto, Norma, and Concepcion: her siblings: Amelia, Alicia, and Daniel.
