He was born on December 13, 1943, in Comanche County to Blake and Cleo (McNutt) Bartlett. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. On October 21, 1967, he was united in marriage to Louann Chancellor in Comanche. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2011. Donald was a Baptist. He was an outstanding father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was employed by AMPI as a truck driver until he retired after many years of service. He was a member of VFW in Stephenville.
