Betty Lou Fleming, 73, of Snyder died Thursday, March 29, in Abilene Regional Hospital.
A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. April 6 in the funeral home chapel with Ricky Williams officiating.
Cremation is planned and arrangements are under the direction of Wright Colonial Funeral Home. Born Jan. 31, 1934 in Scurry County, she married C.R. “Skeeter” Fleming on Sept. 27, 1956 in Snyder and was an officer in charge of bookkeeping at West Texas State Bank until her retirement in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Exie Mae Wilson and two sisters, Juanita Eckert and Avonell House.
Survivors include her husband, Skeeter Fleming of Snyder; a daughter, Sherry Fleming of Buffalo Gap; a son, David Fleming of Bastrop; and a sister,Mae Hancock of Snyder.
