Wife of J. P. Morris. Maiden name provided by Eric Watson.
While the TS Photo indicates Feb 1877, per the probate records for Jesse P Morris, her husband, she was dead before July 10, 1876. Coosa Co. AL Probate records, 1834-1939, Vol 10 (available at FamilySearch), pg 641-642 (image 511-512), the administrators of Jesse Morris petition the court to sell the land. At the end of the record is a statement "..and the widow of said deceased being also dead that land be sold without regard for dower or other interest.".
All the living children are named in the various probate records.
