Donna Marlene Olson, 78, of Cumberland died Monday, August 4, 2014 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born June 3, 1936 in Menno, SD to Albert and Alta (Weber) Diede. She was married in Scotland, SD on August 11, 1958 to RIchard Olson who preceded her in death on March 4, 2005.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Tom) Brown of Circle Pines, MN and Wendy (Mark) Olson Hansen of Bigfork, MT; her son, Eric Olson of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren; her siblings, Dale Diede of Sierra Madre, CA, and Harvey (Donna) Diede of Rice Lake; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Cumberland, WI with Rev. Randy Skow-Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Cumberland, WI. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland and one hour prior to service on Thursday at the church.
An evening prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
