From the Denton Genealogical Society, a 1915 Denton newspaper article and also an old letter written to Elizabeth's granddaughter, Mary Smith Barb Elliott, regarding the family plots in Denton TX. Gravestone has been lost but was inscribed as Mrs. E. C. Smith w/o Rev. J. C. Smith with dates of birth and death. With these three sources I feel confident Elizabeth is buried here at the Oakwood Cemetery.
