A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005 at the BIaker's Restaurant on the east side of Possum Kingdom Lake with the Rev. Ray Rogers officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Yancy, in l982; his mother, Letha, in 1999; and his wife, Judy, in 1996.
Survivors include two sons, John Yancey and Cody Chapman of Possum Kingdom Lake; two daughters, Suzanne Parker and husband Doug of Carrollton and Jennifer Angle and husband Derrick of Red Oak; a brother, Jim Yancey and wife Nan of Granbury; two sisters, Diane Austin and husband Mickey of Arlington and Cathy Deanna Yancey of Graham; and four grandchildren.
