Simeon H. Blackburn, 75, Clifford, Ind., died at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1991 at his home.

He was born Jan. 2, 1916 in Rugby, Ind., the son of Boyd and Julia Bailey Blackburn. He was a retired farmer and attended the Rugby U.B. Church. He was a trustee at the church, and had served as treasurer of his Sunday School class.

He was married to Rosalie Campbell and she preceded him in death Oct. 4, 1973. He is survived by one son, Melvin E. Blackburn, Hope, Ind.; two daughters, Joyce Ann Blackburn, Clifford, Ind., and Janie K. Norberg, St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Anna Jane Blackburn, Clifford, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

The Rev. Calvin Bass, the Rev. David Harker and the Rev. Archie Kent will conduct the services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rugby U.B. Church.

Burial will be in the Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Norman Funeral Home, Hope, Ind., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church after 1 p.m. Saturday.

Memorials may be given to the church.
