Rebecca Sue Sanford passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at New Beginning Church of Forsyth with burial in East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Rebecca was born July 29, 1955, in Decatur, Georgia. Her father, Jack Bennett Agnew preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, John Sanford and Ivey Rogers of Macon and Rachel and Jeffery Watkins of Milledgeville; mother, Frances C. Agnew of Forsyth; brothers, Randy and Carol Agnew of Smarr and Michael Agnew of Forsyth and seven grandchildren.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
