Maria Elizondo, of Houston, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at the age of 86. She was born in Acapulco, Mexico, on January 19, 1928 to Mario Garcia and Crecencia Hernandez.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcos Elizondo and son Alfonso Palma.
Maria is survived by her children, Eugenio Palma, Olegario Palma, Maria Elena Palma, Manuel Medina, Maria Cristina Medina-Levy, Raquel Medina Fangman; as well as 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a Chapel Service to follow at 1:00 PM. A Private Interment will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association of America.
