Ella Mae Vann Lowe, age 54, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at her home.

Ella Mae was born December 14, 1959 in Oliver Springs. She was a lifelong resident of this area.

She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Ella Mae was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Freddie Vann, by a nephew,
Brentlee Gilmore, and by a special uncle, Clarence Green.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Ethel Vann of Oliver Springs, by a daughter, Patricia Farmer and husband, Larry of Oliver Springs, by sons; Donald Lowe of Powell and Josh Lowe and wife, Lori of Oliver Springs and by grandchildren; Brittany Farmer, Jonathan Farmer and Colbey Daugherty.

Ella Mae is also survived by sisters; Deanna Russell and husband, Tim of Athens, TN, Ramona Turpin of Oliver Springs, TN, Wanda White of Harriman, TN, Jewel Sledge and husband, James of Sweetwater, and Vickie Clark and husband, Benny of Oak Ridge, by brothers; Nathan Vann and wife, Teresa of Clinton, Rev. Darrell Vann and wife, Cissy of Sweetwater, TN and Allen Vann and wife, Misty of Harriman, TN. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and a special friend, Duff Broom of Oliver Springs.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 12, 2014, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm, at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Sunday, July 13, 2014, at 2:00 pm, at the Indian Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Darrell Vann and Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Burial and graveside services will follow at the Indian Creek Cemetery. Sharp Funeral Home is serving the Lowe family and an online register book is available at www.sharpfh.com
