CARBONEAR - Shirley A. Chubbs passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, Shirley A. Chubbs of Carbonear, age 81 years.
Predeceased by husband: Joseph; daughter: Laura.
Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Donna (Peter) Dooley, Carbonear and Cathy (Derek) Oates, Corner Brook; two sons: Glenn (Wanda), Mount Pearl and Lloyd (Loriann), Carbonear; six grandchildren: Chastity (Andrew), Brian, Cheryl, Rebecca, Chelsea and Claire; one great-granddaughter: Ella; one brother: Chester Murray, Carbonear; three sisters: Helen Barrett, Carbonear, Irene (Edward) Taylor and Maxine Seymour, both of Harbour Grace; sister-in-law: Nita Chubbs, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
Interment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Shirleys memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
