A graveside funeral service for Frances Stalcup, age 79, of Lake Brownwood, will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 7, 2014 in the Fairview Cemetery.

There will be a funeral procession leaving from First Baptist Lake Brownwood at 10:30 for those needing direction to the cemetery.

Mrs. Stalcup passed from this life on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in a local care facility.

Frances was born on November 21, 1934 in Lafayette, Georgia to Henry and Mary (Barron) Sisemore. Her family moved to Cotton Center and she graduated from Hale Center High School.

She married Leonard Stalcup on December 18, 1954 in Hale Center. Frances and Leonard left the plains of West Texas in 1978 and moved to Lake Brownwood. Frances was a member of Lake Brownwood First Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leonard Stalcup of Lake Brownwood, two daughters, Cherry Parks and husband Randy of Lingleville and Cassandra Parks of Lake Brownwood; five grandchildren, Katrina Brister, Sabrina VanDenberg, Craig Parks, Michael Parks, all of Lingleville, and Deric Parks of Stephenville; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby Sisemore and wife Betty of Kress and Tommy Sisemore and wife Gayle of Robert Lee, and Billy Gene Sisemore and wife Norma of Hale Center; a sister, Mary June Stalcup and husband Billy of Burkett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Henry Julian Sisemore, James Riley Sisemore, William Martin Sisemore and Dwight Donald Sisemore and two sisters, Donna May Sisemore and Rachel Olivia Pruett.
