Nelda Jordan Roach, 75, of Levelland went to be with her Lord Monday June 16, 2014 in Lubbock. She was born April 5, 1939 in Spur, Texas to Alonzo and Bernice Phifer. Nelda was a beautician and bookkeeper, but her greatest joy was being a "mom" and "Mimi". She loved her grandkids more than anything, and she loved the Lord. She was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church of Levelland. She is survived by her son Robin Cochran and wife Ann of Lubbock; two daughters, Rhonda Frentress of Levelland, and Jami Jordan Humphreys and husband Jimmy of Levelland; a brother, Donald Phifer of Florida; a sister, Carrol Baker of Dallas; grandchildren, Rance D. Jordan, Haden Jordan, and Kason Hartline all of Levelland, Lonnie Brown of Lamesa, Wes Bearden of Alabama, Candice Creeach of Lubbock, Amy Jo Wilson of Houston, Beth Moser of Lubbock, John Robin Cochran of Lubbock, and Courtney Humphreys of Levelland; and three great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday June 23, 2014 at 2nd Baptist Church in Levelland with Mike Holster officiating
