ODESSA-Services for Loyd D. Ivey, 74, of Odessa are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ivey died Tuesday, May 21, 1996, at his residence. He was born Sept. 6, 1921, in McComb, Miss. He married Lavern Boyd on Feb. 16, 1942, in McComb, Miss.
Mr. Ivey moved to Odessa in August 1983. He was a retired Field Supervisor for Texaco Inc. He had worked for Texaco for 43 years. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lavern Ivey of Odessa; a son, Jack Ivey of Odessa; brothers, Francis Ivey of Anchorage, Alaska, Kenneth Ivey of Fredonia, Kansas, and Curtis Ivey of Bartlesville, Okla.; sisters, Charlene Barr of Fernwood, Miss., and Maude Hanna of Glendora, Calif.; one grandchild, Nikki Patrice Ivey of Hobbs, N.M.; and one great-grandchild, Spencer Lee Ivey of Hobbs.
Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
