Alfreida B. Loeffelholz , 89, of Dyersville, Iowa, died at 9:08 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, Iowa surrounded by her loving family.

Friends and relatives of Alfreida may call from 2 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 15, 2014 and they may also call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa.

Services for Alfreida will be held at 2:00p.m., Monday June 16, 2014 at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, Iowa with Rev. Noah Diehm Presiding. Burial will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Dyersville, Iowa.
Alfreida was born June 20, 1924 in Bankston, Iowa, daughter of William and Anna (Loutsch) Conrad. She received her education from St. Clemens Catholic School. On November 14, 1946 she was united in marriage to Walter M. Loeffelholz at Basilica St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, Iowa.

She was a member of the Basilica St. Francis Xavier Parish.

She is survived by seven children, Eric (Louise) Loeffelholz of Earlville, IA, Shirley Stelken of Dyersville, IA, Dave (Jeanine)) Loeffelholz of Hopkinton, IA, Linda (Michael) Hittenmiller, of Davenport, IA, Judy (Michael) Recker of Earlville, IA, Cathy (Steve) Lueck of Dyersville, IA, and Dean (Sherry) Loeffelholz of Earlville, IA; 22 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-laws, Jenny Conrad, Ed (Joann) Loeffelholz, Norma (Paul) Tegeler all of Dyersville, IA, and Juanita Loeffelholz of Cudworth Sask, Canada.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter M. Loeffelholz on January 17, 2001; one daughter, Jane Loeffelholz; one son-in-law, Bill Stelken; two brothers, John and Irvin Conrad; five sisters, Susan Eike, Angeline Treinen, Helen Klostermann, Viola Streif, and Marcella Recker.
