She was born in Eastland County, Texas, in May of 1922, and was the daughter of Cecil K. (Vandiver) Miller and Roy Hayden Miller as the fifth of eight children.
During the Great Depression years Florence attended Yellow Mound School and Morton Valley High School.
Florence married Roy Alton Callarman of Cisco, Texas, on Friday, 21 November 1941, in Eastland.
Soon after, they moved to Fort Worth where she worked for Consolidated Aircraft Corporation as a true "Rosie the Riveter" building B-29s for war efforts of WWII.
Their family began when Roy Alton Callarman Jr., was born in 1944, Richard Callarman in 1945 and Judy Callarman in 1951.
Mrs. Callarman is survived by her son, Richard Callarman, daughter, Judy Callarman, sister, Genevee (Miller) Burns.
