Mrs. James Burnette
Mrs. James Burnette, 49, died this morning at her home, 55 South Mary Avenue, Freeport, Illinois.
Dora Knouse was born April 29, 1893, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Benjamin & Jane Knouse. She was united in marriage to James Burnette at Dixon in 1927 (This date may be incorrect, could be 1929.) The family has resided here for the past eight years.
She is survived by her husband; a son, James, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Jacoby, Madison, Wis,; and two brothers, Ben, of Monroe, Wis., and John, of Argyle, Wis.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Eichmeier & Becker funeral home, West Stephenson Street, Rev. H. I. Newell, pastor of the United Brethren church, will officiate and interment will be made at Darlington, Wisconsin.
