Martin R. Sadler 85 of Palm Coast FL passed away on Monday May 3rd 2010 with his family at his side at HOVF-Port Orange Care Center. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday May 18th 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy Palm Coast FL. A burial with military honors will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Martin was born in Philadelphia PA the son of Martin and Viola Greenhalgh Sadler. He was a United States Marine Corp and World War II veteran. He survived the battles of Munda and Bougainville in the South Pacific. Martin was married 63 years to his loving wife Phyllis J. Sadler. They moved to Florida in 1980 where he worked at Duncan Middle School in Palm Beach as Head Custodian. Martin loved fishing at any time of the day or night and enjoyed gardening. Left to cherish their memories of their lives together are his wife Phyllis J. Sadler and his daughter Barbara Dinardo and husband Paul of Palm Coast FL. Martin is preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia Flagler (3800 Wood-briar Trail Port Orange FL 32129).
