Jacqueline Clowdis Lowrance, 74, of Munday, TX, went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 1st, 2014.

She was born in Munday, TX on November 27th, 1939 to Jack and Ellen Clowdis.

Jackie graduated from Munday High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Tech University.

She married Homer K. Lowrance on December 22nd, 1957 and taught at Littlefield ISD for 20 years.

Jackie loved and served the Lord by investing her life in others, especially children. She loved teaching children of all ages and giving the gift of learning. She opened her heart and her home to everyone around her. Jackie's joyful personality, wealth of selflessness, and friendly smile will be sorely missed by her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ellen Clowdis.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Homer, daughter Michelle Lowrance and daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Jeff Dutton. She is also survived by grandchildren Jarrod, Kacee, Hannah, Lendon, and Ali and also one great granddaughter Audra as well as one on the way. She is also survived by three sisters, Patricia, Margaret, and Deborah.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A visitation was held from 6-7pm on Wednesday, June 4th at McCauley -Smith Funeral Home. Jackie's life was celebrated at 11am, Thursday morning, June 5th at First Baptist Church in Munday followed by interment in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home in Munday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the The First Baptist Church of Munday's Childrens Fund or Hiz Kiz Ministry via First Bank Texas of Munday.
