Pvt. Arlin D. Loden, husband of Rada Clytee Wallace entered service on November 11, 1943. He took his basic infantry training at Camp Wolters, Texas. He was killed in action somewhere in France about a month after he landed in France. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He was originally buried in the U.S. Military Cemetery No. 1, in Andilly France in Plot C, Row 7, Grave #161. After the war he was moved to Mississippi.
