Harry B. Cochran, 89 years old, went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 23, 2014. Harry was born in Removal, WV to Peter J. and Eula Cochran, both deceased. Harry was a born again believer in Christ. He was a member of The Chapel for 63 years, an active member having served in several areas of leadership.
He quietly and gently exemplified the love of Christ and was dearly admired and loved by his wife, Er'Mest "Pug" Cochran of 64 years, 11 months; two daughters, Linda Cochran Myers (Bill) and Sharon Cochran Troike (John). Harry retired from Borden Milk Co., The Chapel and Troike Building Corp. He served in the Army during World War II in Germany. He was a proud Grandfather to Daniel and Jonathan Myers and Melissa Weber of Colorado and Katie and Stephen Troike of Bath, OH. Also, a Great-Grandfather to Hadley and Carsten Myers of Colorado. Harry was the last to survive from a family of nine, leaving several nieces and nephews.

He had a love for fishing, hunting, and after the age of 65, learning to golf. His last Tee Time was last October. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Todd McKenney officiating.

He had a love for fishing, hunting, and after the age of 65, learning to golf. His last Tee Time was last October. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Todd McKenney officiating.
