Landon Thomas Ahrendt, 10, of Kingwood, joined God's fleet of Angels Wednesday , May 21, 2014 in the loving arms of his family. Landon was born June 12, 2003 in Kingwood to Jaymi and Scott Ahrendt.

Landon's loves included: his mom, dad and sisters, his four legged buddy, "Cooper", anything soccer - his teams were the Houston Dynamo and Manchester United , Super Mario Brothers Yoshi, the New Orleans Saints, watching WWE with his dad, making loom bracelets, and Lego's Ninjago, just to name a few.

Landon's loving family includes his mother Jaymi and father Scott; sisters Haley and Teigan; maternal grandparents Casey and Peggy Varick, Gary and Bonnie Larson; paternal grandparents Larry and Gloria Ahrendt; great grandparents Tom and Vina Larson, Mabel Aune; aunts and uncles: Jamie and Erica Ahrendt, Jason and Heather Ahrendt, Cory and Lindsey Larson; cousins: Rilee, Hanna, Gabrielle, Kendall , Lincoln, and Gavin; and his "brutha from anutha mutha" Barrett Kenny. Landon is in Heaven with his great Grandparents: Don and Theresa Ahrendt, Howard Aune, and Keith and Lois Duncan.

There will be a visitation at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 3803 W. Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, TX 77339 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 26th, 2014. The celebration of Landon's life will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 26th, 2014 inside the main gymnasium in Kingwood High School, 2701 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, Texas, 77339.

The celebration will continue at Kingwood High School from 2:30 to 4:30 with all of Landon's favorite things: hot dogs, cotton candy, pepperoni and cheese pizza, Laffy Taffy and popcorn stands. There will also be sports games, an inflatable obstacle course, and other activities that Landon and his friends love. Landon will be laid to rest privately at Forest Park the Woodlands Cemetery.

Please honor the family's request and wear L 3 shirts, soccer or sports shirts, and shorts, jeans, or khaki's.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the L3 Foundation at Wells Fargo in Kingwood. The Foundation's purpose is to find a cure for childhood cancer and help families like Landon's.
