Denis was born February 17, 1936, in Grayson County, Texas. He attended schools in Denison, and then attended Texas A & M three years and remained a faithful Aggie throughout his lifetime. He served in the U. S. Air Force. for two years. Denis married Eleanor Lushnia October 18, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. To this marriage were born 2 sons, Paul Michael Marsico and Alan Denis Marsico.
Denis worked as a salesman in the industrial paper industry, retiring from Rock-Tenn Paper in 1995. Following his retirement he moved to Callahan County as a gentleman farmer and rancher. He was a loving and devoted "Grandpaw" to his two grandchildren. He had volunteered for many organizations, including Baird Meals-on-Wheels. He attended the Baird Senior Citizen's Center.
Denis was a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 44 years, a certified Concealed Handgun Instructor, Hunter Safety Instructor, a Weapons Range Instructor, and a Lifetime Member of the NRA.
Dennis touched the lives of many through his association in AA by sponsoring many individuals and impacting their lives. He was instrumental in helping many learn to live one day at a time in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and the Baird/Abilene area.
He was predeceased by a son, Paul.
He is the son Robert Rheay.
