Mrs. Duryea was born in Illinois, December 22, 1841. She lived in Illinois most of her life, but for the past 25 years has made her home in California and Oregon. Other children surviving are Otho C. Duryea, New York city, and Mrs. C. A. Gilfillan, Temple City, Cal. A brother, W. P. Turner, Peoria Heights, Ill., also survives.
Funeral services will be held today at 1 o'clock at the chapel of Holman & Lutz, East Fourteenth street and Sandy boulevard. Interment will be in Riverview cemetery.
Mrs. Duryea was a member of the Rose City Park Presbyterian church.
