Margaret M. Franklin died at BroMenn Hospital. She was born May 30, 1898, in Gilman, Il, a daughter of Henry Thomas and Ida Thompson Mann. She married Noah Elmo Franklin in June 1925 in Aurora, Il. He died in 1960.
Survivors include one son, Elmo and one daughter, Barbara Allsup, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Four brothers and one grandson preceded her in death.
She attended Butler University and graduated from Bradley University. She taught in Blue Mound and Lexington High School where she was a math and home economics as teacher. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church..
