Johnny Egger remembers: Toodie was a brother in law of mine and I was very proud to have been his brother in law. He was as good as any man I have ever known. He loved to fish and camp out. He loved to dance and did so right up until he passed away. He used to always tell me about fishing in the Great Lakes in Illinois and how big the fish were he would catch. He was a hard working man and provided well for his family. He will always be missed and always be loved.
