Grace Allen, 92, of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Bremen Health Care Center. She was born on June 19, 1916, in Edmonton, Kentucky to Virgil & Luella Clemons.
On Dec 16, 1934, she married Charles Allen in Winchester, IN; he preceded on April 26, 1995.
In 1969, she moved to Bremen.
A homemaker, Grace attended Salem United Methodist Church. Her house was always open to friends, family and neighbors. She loved playing cards and games, baking cookies, sewing, knitting and loved all of her grandchildren.
Survivors include 1 daughter, 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008, at Salem United Methodist Church in Bremen, at 6 pm. Tom Padberg will officiate. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services at the church, from 4-6 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
