Mrs. Daisy Pauline Allen Morris - Pt. Wentworth - Mrs. Daisy Pauline Allen Morris, 91, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, James Rufus Morris; parents Joshua Allen and Mattie New Allen and grandson, Gregory Allen Morris.

Mrs. Morris was born August 15, 1914. She was baptized at Rocky Creek Baptist Church and was currently attending First Baptist Church of Pt. Wentworth. She lived in Pt. Wentworth for 51 years and along with her husband owned and operated the Morris Market and Coastal Fruit Market. She helped raise all of her grandchildren. Mrs. Morris was a great caregiver that opened her home and offered help and time to numerous members of her family and friends over the years.

Survivors include her children, James Edwin (Ed) Morris of Pt. Wentworth; Marilyn Morris Hadwin of Savannah; Terry McFarlane Grainger (Kenneth) of Bloomingdale; Michael Edward McFarland (Lisa) of Rincon; grandchildren, James Donald Morris (Tina) of Guyton; Stephen Ashley Morris (Nancy) of Guyton; Walter Eugene Hadwin, Jr. (Angela) of Hardeeville, SC; Traci Hadwin Elmgren (Randy) of Wilmington Island; Tammie Hadwin Davis (Bobby) of Bluffton, SC; Latisha Grainger Exley (Franc) of Savannah; Kenneth Carson Grainger, Jr. of Savannah; Ansley Rian Grainger of Savannah; Christina Louise McFarlane of Rincon; Brian Michael McEwen of Rincon; Casey Michelle McFarlane of Rincon; Lori McFarlane Holton (Alvin) of Pooler; 23 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2006 at the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006 in the chapel of the funeral home. Pallbearers will be James Donald Morris, Stephen Ashley Morris, Kenneth Carson Grainger, Jr., Walter Eugene Hadwin, Jr., James Ryan Morris and Brian Michael McEwen. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Wilson, M.L. Allen, Lamar Allen, Russell Allen, Jim Allen, Christopher Morris and Cameron Morris.
