Hannah Jane Belva Bobo Wolff, a long-time Cushing area resident, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2005 in Stillwater at the age of 78 years.
The daughter of the late Walter L. Bobo and M. Alice Sanders Bobo, Belva was born on May 9, 1927 in Crowell, Tex. She moved to Cushing with her family as a small child and had lived here since that time.
She was united in marriage to Harold H. Wolff on November 23, 1947 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, south of Cushing, and to this union five children were born. Harold preceded her in death on October 19, 1986.
She was a member of the Immanuel Luthern Church and she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and working with ceramics.
Survivors include her children, Sherman Wolff and his wife Margaret of Moro, Il., Jane Jacob, Leona Burton and her husband Layne, Marcia Hickman and her husband Sam of Perkins, Delbert Wolff and his wife Susie of Yale; one brother Walter Bobo of Paul, Id; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Ida Bobo and Kay Bobo of Cushing, Elda Oestmann and Leila Oestmann of Newkirk and Ruth Naegele and her husband Roger of Arkansas City, Ks; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, including her caregivers from the Westhaven Nursing Home and
Judith Karman Hospice who were phenomenal to her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee, Lonnie, and Raymond Bobo, one sister Florence Dawes and two great-grandsons, Matthew Lafferty and Wyatt Jacob.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Bryan Dziadik Willingham officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Yard cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Judith Karman Hospice or to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in her memory.
