Kevin M. Dahlstedt, 48, died Sept. 22, 2007, at his home in Alliance.Funeral services will be held Sept. 26, at the Alliance Berean Church. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.Kevin was born Feb. 12, 1959, in Grand Island, Neb. to Que and Mary Ann(Tvrdik)Dahlstedt. He married Kevin Leigh Hessler Sept. 25, 1981 in Scottsbluff. Kevin grew up in Scottsbluff and later moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he worked as a Dispatcher for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He then moved to Alliance and worked as a Trainmaster before then working as a Conductor. He was a four-year member of the Alliance City Council where he also served as Vice-Mayor, and was also the Vice-Local Chairman of the United Transportation Union.Preceding him in death was his father.
