Lettie Mae Carroll Ratliff, 89, passed away on March 14, 2014. She was born in Nassau County, FL to the late Harry and Bessie Carroll.


Miss Lettie was devoted to her family and was very active with her children's school. She was a past president of the Duval County Parent Teacher Association (PTA).


Preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Troy Ratliff, she is survived by her children, Larry R. Ratliff, Gary L. Ratliff (Susan B.), and Susan J. Ratliff Langenbahn (Allen R.); grandchildren, Christopher Sweat, Heather K. Ratliff Land (Stephen) and Nicole S. Ratliff; great grandchildren, Natalie Land, Emerson Land, and Hudson Land; along with her beloved dog, Saki Bomb, many family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday (today), March 16th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 17th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Michael Dee Akers as Officiant, followed by interment at 2:00 pm in Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205.
