Married Zacchariah Myers on September 12, 1832 in Indiana. They were the parents of only one known child: John Howe Myers born Sept. 12, 1834 in Indiana.

John Howe Myers and his parents and extended family members moved to Carroll County, Missouri in 1841.

John Howe Myers married Nancy Ann Smith memorial #78352837. Thus, Nancy Ann (Shirley) Myers shared the same initials with her daughter-in-law, Nancy Ann (Smith) Myers.

Another interesting detail is the fact that Nancy Ann (Smith) Myers is a sister to Lucinda (Smith) Shirley--wife of her 1/2 brother, William Isaac Shirley.

Inscription

In 2013, while mowing Powers Cemetery, a foot stone had come to the surface engraved with the initials of "N. A. M." The initials of Nancy Ann Myers. What a thrill to now know there was proof that this Kentucky Shirley Family had migrated to Carroll County, Missouri. And I wrote "Only this foot stone has survived the perils of Nancy A. (Shirley) Myers' final resting place."

On May 21, 2014 after mowing Powers Cemetery, I discovered five inches of sandstone visible among the grass. What a thrill to unearth 3X Great Aunt Nancy Ann (Shirley) Myers' headstone.
