Henry Andrus Dies Suddenly
Henry Andrus, 76, of Opelousas, died suddenly at 6:30 a.m. today at his home, 243 Marie St.
Andrus was a native of Bellevue and a retired farmer.
His body is at Lafond and Son Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 tonight. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Andrus is survived by his wife, the former Therese Collins of Opelousas; two sons, Jared of Lafayette, and Louis of Opelousas; one sister, Mrs. Charles Peck of Eunice; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
