Services were at Wells Chapel Baptist Church with burial at Wells Chapel Cemetery. United Funeral Service of New Albany was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Margie Adair of New Albany; three daughters, Pat Elder (Bruce), Denice Tutor (Jonathan) and Shiryl Baker, all of New Albany; one son, Alex Adair of Decatur, Ga.; one sister, Nadine Smith of New Albany; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vera Hill and Marie Hill; three brothers, Obie Adair, Darrel Adair and W.T. Adair.
