Brenda Ann (Parker) Griffith of Goldthwaite passed away Saturday January 18, 2014, at the age 64.
Services will be graveside at Wallace Creek Cemetery Thursday January 23, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.; visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service Thursday January 23.
Brenda was born March 3, 1949 to Woody Elgene and Geraldine (Vaughn) Parker in San Saba. She married Clark Griffith March 24, 1967.
She was a proud homemaker, devoting her life to the care of her children and grandchildren. She was always found cleaning or cooking up delicious meals for her family. She enjoyed reading while listening to her favorite music. She loved to watch her television shows of which court TV was a favorite. Brenda will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 46 years Clark Griffith, her mom Mary Parker; 4 sons Clark Griffith Jr. and wife Martha of Goldthwaite, Steven Ray Griffith and wife Pattie of Comanche, Michael Gene Griffith and wife Rebecca of Lometa, and Jeffery Brian Griffith of Goldthwaite; 12 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter; 2 Aunts Betty Myers and Peggy Turner, 3 Uncles Billy Don Vaughn, and wife Angie, Jack Vaughn, and Ronnie Vaughn and wife Rachel; A very good friend that was like a son Robert Watson, also numerous nieces and nephews.
Brenda is preceded in death by parents Woody and Geraldine Parker, 1 brother Woody and daughter Lisa Griffith White.
