Kenneth Charles Bennett, 66, of Rosebud, died Friday, April, 5, 2013, in a Temple Hospital. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Steven Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
Mr. Bennett was born January 18, 1947 in Hunt County to Charles and Georgia Helen Grant Bennett. He moved to the Rosebud area in 1970.
He married Carolyn Blake on June 10, 1966. He worked for Wilson Art, Rosebud Medical Services, Texas Hydraulics, and Bloomer Trailers. He was a member of Rosebud Masonic Lodge AF & AM # 745.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter; one brother; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Powers Chapel Cemetery Association. Visitation was held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
