BERKEBILE - Roberta Ruth Berkebile, age 88, of Wyoming, passed away at Heartland Healthcare - Crestview, on Thursday, December 6, 2001.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul. Surviving are her children, Carol Charon Terry Wright of Grand Rapids and Gary Carol Berkebile of Cadillac; her grandchildren, Mark Esther Charon of Grandville, Jeff Laura Charon of Grandville, Amy Brian Hoffman of Lake City, and Melissa Berkebile of Grand Rapids; and her 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Lois Melvin Leisure of Lexington, VA and Mary DeWitt Miller of Hagerstown, MD.

A private memorial service will be held 5 pm Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel 4235 Prairie St. SW - east building with Pastor John Tobian of Christ Community Church officiating. Interment will be at the Rest Lawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
