Mrs. Thomas was a retired seamstress, having worked for Elder Manufacturing Co. in McLeansboro and Fairfield Garment Co.
She was born July 2,1919, in Saline County, the daughter of Leonard and Myrtle (Lyons) Mayberry. She married Paul Thomas and he preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro and the Rev. Gary Davenport will officiate. Burial will follow in Blooming Grove Cemetery near McLeansboro.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by one son, Ronald Thomas and wife Judy of McLeansboro; one brother, Charles Mayberry of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Erma Seyfer of Wauwatosa, Wis., and Mrs. Juanita Boughton of St. Paul, Minn.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Janet Coy of McLeansboro, Tim Thomas of McLeansboro and Mrs. Patricia Shoultz of Fairfield; ind one great-granddaughter, Jessica Thomas of McLeansboro.
Mrs. Thomas was a Protestant.
