She and her husband professed their faith in Christ in 1902 at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, southeast of Thackeray. She was the oldest living member when she passed away.
Oma Myers, 79, Of McLeansboro Dies Tuesday Mrs. Oma Myers, 79, of near McLeansboro, died at 9:35 p.m. yesterday at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. Funeral services will be held at 1;30 p.m. Friday at Blooming Grove Baptist church, with the Rev. .John B. Maulding and the Rev. Luther Upton officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
