Born in Black Oak, Arkansas to Jack and Sara Vaught Pouge. Married James Leadford in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1971. Later married Earl Winters in 1979 and he preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jack Pouge and Sarah Vaught Pouge Burwell; three sons; one grandson; two brothers; and two sisters. Survivor include two sons, Richard Leadford, or Warsaw Ind., Kenneth Leadford, of McAlester; four daughters, Kathy Krueger, or Oklahoma City, Barbara Snodgrass, of Bristow, Margie Frantz, of Silver Lake, Ind.; Diane Gilbert of Warsaw, Ind; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and a brother Junior Burwell, of Okmulgee. She grew up and attended schools in Arkansas; She was a homemaker most of her life and at one time was a member of the Northside Assembly of God Church in McAlester. She was a long time resident of McAlester and had lived in Warsaw, Ind. for the past five years to be close to family. She was 73 years old at the time of her death. Services were under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service and Rev. Brent Jarrett officiated.
