George was proud to be a machinist; he owned his own company called Hills Quality Machine. In his free time he had a passion for bowling. He and his wife traveled the country for various bowling competitions and was a proud lifetime member of the Houston Bowling Association. He also enjoyed fishing with his grandson, Steven “Bubba” Baker, III. He also was a Boy Scout and loved being the Scout Master. He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Elmer Spencer; and brother, William Fulkerson. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
George was survived by his loving wife, Deborah Lynn Fulkerson; sons, Norman Fulkerson, John Fulkerson, Kenny Fulkerson, and Marvin Fulkerson; step-children, Steven Baker, Jr. and Misty Brown; brother, Robert Fulkerson and wife, Merlith; sister, Ida Young and husband, Mark. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.
