Mrs. Syfrett died June 16 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
She was born Dec. 10, 1935, in Mills County, the daughter of Bernard Crouch "Jack" Davis and Gladys Long Hall.
She was married to Andrew Jasper Syfrett.
Mrs. Syfrett was a homemaker and a Baptist. She had lived in Lampasas since February 2001, coming from Norway, S.C.
Survivors include sons, Timothy Syfrett, of Red Oak, Daniel Syfrett, of Conroe, Terry Clendenen, of San Antonio, and Timothy Clendenen, of Goldthwaite; daughters, Rebecca Brown, of Morgan City, La., and Nancy Strickland, of Red Oak; her mother of Lampasas; one brother, John Davis, and wife, Lois, of Mesquite; and two brothers-in-law, the Rev. Harold W. Syfrett, of Charleston, S.C., and Wilbur C. Syfrett, of Cordova, S.C.
Other survivors include sisters, Vera Warren, and husband, Joe, of Oglesby, and Dianna Buchanan, of La Vernia; one sister-in-law, Louise Stroble, of Ridgeville, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 10, 2000; a stepson, Steve Syfrett; and her stepfather, Johnnie "Cobb" Hall.
