Albert Lawson Shipp Jr., 83,of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, October 13,2005. Mr. Shipp was born March 22,1922, in the Buchanan community. He was retired
from Luxury Lodges, a carpenter, Master Mason and member of Buchanan United Methodist Church and United Methodist Men. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Shipp of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Bonnie Shipp of St. Jacob, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Bobby Knight of Pottsboro, Texas; one foster daughter, Jeana Lorance of Texarkana; one brother, W.L. "Duggie" Shipp of Texarkana; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one special friend, John Tuck. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at East Funeral Home, Downtown with the Revs. Butch Shipp, Jill Daniel and Dudley Childs officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood
